Nessa Preppy

German-born Vanessa John is a young and alluring vocalist better known as “Nessa Preppy”. Leaving Germany with her family and beginning a new life in Arima, Trinidad at age 5, Preppy began to be molded by Trinidad and Tobago and its multi-faceted culture. After a couple years of experimenting with other genres, Preppy created waves when her playful delivery of “Turn Up the Sound” in the year 2012 became a fan favorite and her first Soca release.

Her follow-up single entitled “Nobody Like You” which featured Trinidad artiste Orlando Octave brought her even more popularity and more importantly, the inspiration to continue honing her vocal and performance skills. Added to this, Preppy is convinced that her experiences in the entertainment industry throughout the years, be it good or not so good, all played a critical role in her realizing the importance of team effort and collaboration. Without those experiences, she would not be the promising artiste she is today.

The song originally written by Preppy is accompanied by the ever-unique music production of ace producer London Future and co-written by Soca Banton and Full Blown Entertainment.
